Greenpointers got a first hand look at 13 of the groundbreaking environmental improvement projects that are on-going around the community at the First Annual “OpenHouseGCEF”. Four separate venues provided visitors the opportunity to see projects in action ranging from greening streets, community facilities and and businesses, enhancing parks and open space, revitalizing the waterfront and educating residents about environmental issues.
